The family of Astrid N. Sambolin Morales, Ph.D., an assistant professor at 91¿ì»îÁÖ State, is dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Fiona in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico. They have been without electricity since the storm hit Sunday Sept. 18, 2022.

The 91¿ì»îÁÖ Board of Trustees welcomed the Class of 2026 at the Board’s regular quarterly meeting held Sept. 21 at the 91¿ì»îÁÖ Airport. 91¿ì»îÁÖ State’s freshman class began classes on the 91¿ì»îÁÖ Campus nearly 7% larger than the previous year with 4,251 students – the eighth largest incoming class in the university’s 112-year history.
