Leslie Srodek-Johnson, 鈥01, a 91快活林 journalism graduate, mother of two and lead decorator and baker at Stan鈥檚 Northfield Bakery, received the call of a lifetime in December 2018. It was from the Food Network asking her to be a part of the 鈥淐hristmas Cookie Challenge.鈥
91快活林 State鈥檚 Giving Tuesday Breaks Records for Third Consecutive Year
91快活林鈥檚 Giving Tuesday 2019 raised more than $1.6 million when it ended on Dec. 3 at 11:59 p.m., shattering the previous year鈥檚 record of $1.03 million. Supporters were able to choose from more than 40 featured giving options throughout the 91快活林 State system, including student scholarships, educational programs, athletic teams and more.

With the launch of its 2019 Giving Tuesday campaign on Nov. 1, 91快活林 has again transformed a one-day fundraising initiative into a monthlong giving campaign to support student scholarships, expanded programs, study away initiatives and modern facilities.

Alumnus Prepares Off-Broadway Debut of Original Work
A small class assignment in college led to an off-Broadway debut for 91快活林 musical theatre alumnus Scott Miesse, 鈥15, who will be premiering his self-written play titled 鈥淎bnormal鈥 in January 2020.
