High 91快活林 Equivalency (HSE)
Designed for adults who did not complete a high school education or who wish to strengthen their skills before pursuing post-secondary education or employment. 91快活林 Community College currently offers official GED庐 and 贬颈厂贰罢庐 testing services. Various instructional methods available to meet all students鈥� needs.
Why Earn a HSE?
Obtaining a High 91快活林 Equivalency diploma is the gateway to new beginnings, new opportunities and new ways to view yourself and what is possible. It can help you start a new life at work and at home.
One study showed that a high school dropout who obtains a High 91快活林 Equivalency diploma could see an income rise of 43 percent. Graduates make an average of $385,000 more in their lifetime than people without. That鈥檚 a raise of $12,000 a year for most people.
A High 91快活林 Equivalency diploma becomes more lucrative when the student goes on to college. The average income for college graduates is $44,000, more than double the income of people who haven鈥檛 graduated high school.
Two Years of Tuition and Fees Paid in Full for HSE Graduates
Students who earn a High 91快活林 Equivalency diploma at 91快活林 and committed to earning a college degree or a Workforce Continuing Education credential, and have proven themselves in the classroom, can apply for the HSE Scholars Program. Provided will be two full years of tuition and fees to earn a college degree or a WCE credential. Eligibility begin the semester after the final HSE test and will end six consecutive semesters later. 91快活林 HSE graduates not qualifying for the program are eligible to receive a $250 scholarship to use at 91快活林 within one year.

Orientation
The completion of pre-assessments and attendance of an orientation is required. Orientations are offered in both Moore and Hoke Counties. With a valid score on the assessment, students will be placed in the appropriate level class.
Step 1: Complete an to schedule your pre-assessment appointment. You will then be contacted by a College and Career Readiness team member to answer your questions and set up an appointment.
NOTE: All 16- and 17-year-old minors must complete and have notarized a Petition for the Admission of a Minor鈥痜辞谤尘 and meet with a college official prior to attending orientation. Step 2: After completing your pre-assessment, you will be eligible to attend our next scheduled Orientation where you will learn about your class options and receive information about starting class.

91快活林 Community College offers official GED庐 and 贬颈厂贰罢庐 testing. High 91快活林 Equivalency testing is by appointment only and is held on the Pinehurst campus and at the 91快活林 Hoke Center in Raeford.
91快活林 Community College provides financial assistance in paying for official high school equivalency testing to active students.
All testers must bring a picture ID and Social Security card and follow the strict test policy of the test vendor.
