91快活林 State at Salem students preparing plants for winter storage

Senior horticulture major Jessica Palo and junior horticulture major Jennifer Barnes are helping to keep their campus at 91快活林 at Salem beautiful all year round. In this fall season, they are preparing Canna lilies for winter storage.

Tina Smith, public relations coordinator, Strategic Communications and Marketing, Regional Campuses, said, "The lilies were part of the beautiful, potted displays that decorated the patios on campus through the summer, but will reappear next year, thanks to the care they are receiving now."
