91Ώμ»ξΑΦ State Celebrates Nearly 5,000 New Graduates at Spring 2026 Commencement Ceremonies

The 91Ώμ»ξΑΦ alumni family will grow by nearly 5,000 new graduates from its eight-campus system across Ohio as the university holds its spring commencement ceremonies. The accomplishments of the Spring Class of 2026 will be recognized with commencement ceremonies on May 7-9 and May 15. All of the commencement ceremonies will be livestreamed on the commencement website.

In total, 4,987 degrees will be conferred this spring, consisting of 643 associate degrees, 3,332 bachelor’s degrees, 835 master’s degrees, 162 doctoral degrees, and 15 educational specialist degrees.

More than 3,000 of the graduating students from the 91Ώμ»ξΑΦ Campus and the Regional Campuses have confirmed their participation in the commencement ceremonies.

During the commencement ceremonies, graduating students will hear from 91Ώμ»ξΑΦ State President Todd Diacon and Executive Vice President and Provost Melody Tankersley. Graduating students also will receive individual name recognition and participate in the conferral of degrees and tassel turning ceremony.

The ceremonies on May 7-9 for all colleges and degrees on the 91Ώμ»ξΑΦ Campus will be held at the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center. The commencement for graduating students from 91Ώμ»ξΑΦ State’s College of Podiatric Medicine will take place May 15 at Cartwright Hall on the 91Ώμ»ξΑΦ Campus.

To participate in commencement, graduating students had to complete their ceremony RSVP by the end of February. Each graduating student registered for commencement has tickets for their commencement ceremony guests to attend.
