New Programs Expand Opportunities at Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship

KENT, Ohio —The Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship is expanding its academic portfolio through the addition of the Department of Sport, Hospitality and Event Management and the Advertising program, which is joining the Department of Marketing and Entrepreneurship. 

The Department of Sport, Hospitality and Event Management provides students with hands-on learning experiences and direct connections to industry professionals. Students benefit from opportunities to engage with professional sport organizations and local leaders in the hospitality industry. The new department offers two undergraduate degrees, one master’s degree, four minors, and two undergraduate certificates. 

In addition to the new department, the Advertising program, including both its major and minor, has joined the Department of Marketing and Entrepreneurship at the college. The integration of advertising strengthens the college’s offerings in social media and digital advertising, while creating new opportunities for collaboration across other business majors. 

With these newly added programs, students can participate in interdisciplinary projects, develop practical skills through hands-on experiences, and join a broader network of industry professionals, supporting their personal and professional development.

The Ambassador Crawford College is creating new opportunities for collaboration and innovation. The new programs will enable students to develop a versatile skill set and be prepared to meet the challenges of an evolving workforce.
